Restoration & Repair

At Huxley at Home, we specialise in the repair and restoration of antique and modern furniture. We always take the time to evaluate how each piece of furniture was originally constructed to prevent over-restoration. We store a range of aged hard and softwoods that allow us to match materials down to the colour and grain. We can also provide a wide range of finishes to ensure that your piece stays protected for generations to come.  Small bespoke projects are possible and can be discussed in store.

Our approach

We believe that antique furniture must always be handled with the utmost respect, ensuring all works completed are sympathetic and unintrusive. It’s because of this that we follow a set procedure where a piece is fully documented first to identify the best options for repair.
